This a classical topic: here Magritte doesn't show us a pipe, but a painting of a pipe.Well, at least a painting. What is the more obvious: the painting itself, or the pipe painted. At first look the pipe of course. But without the painting there is no pipe.So from that very simple and canonical instance of art we can develop very easily lot of interpretations about the concept of reality, the ideas of existence of things itselves and the existence of ideas of the things. What seems to be obvious isn't often the heart of the problem.Heart of darkness?
